# Airline Profile: Awards

Awards are shown in the profile's **Tours & Awards** tab. They let an airline recognize pilots for achievements, while tour badges record completion of a particular tour.

## What you can see

An award card can include:

* award name and description;
* its type or recognition category;
* the requirement or grant information supplied by the airline;
* how many pilots have received it;
* its artwork when available.

The profile can also show the badge associated with a tour. A tour badge is earned after every required tour leg has been completed and accepted. It is not the same as a custom airline award.

## What visitors can do

Visitors and members can read published awards. The public profile does not provide a control to grant, revoke, or edit an award. Those actions, when available, belong to the airline management workspace.

Joining or completing a tour is handled from the tour detail and [Dispatch](./dispatch), not from the award card. A pilot's own earned badges and pinned rewards are managed from the VA profile rewards area.

## Groups and publication

An operating airline in a group may use the group's flagship profile and shared public content. Only published, active awards are presented on the public profile. Draft or unpublished awards are not part of the public view.

## Empty and loading states

If an airline has no published tours or awards, the tab shows an empty message. A missing image uses a fallback display. If the profile cannot load, return to **My airlines** or reload it; the current profile page may hide all secondary sections when one supporting request fails.
