Career Contracts
Contracts are how Career Mode records major employment decisions. If FlyHub asks you to sign a contract, read it before signing. The contract controls your airline, role, pay, training terms, base, and obligations.Contract types
Career Mode can use several contract types.| Contract type | What it is for |
|---|---|
| Training | Starts a type-rating or starter training program. |
| Employment | Starts normal line employment after onboarding, transfer, or successful training. |
| Promotion | Confirms a new rank and higher pay at your current airline. |
| Transfer | Confirms movement to a new airline or a new employment package. |
When contracts appear
Contracts can appear after:- Career onboarding.
- Passing an interview.
- Accepting a job offer.
- Starting type-rating training.
- Completing type-rating training.
- Receiving a promotion.
- Accepting a transfer.
- Receiving an internal type opportunity.
Why a pending contract matters
A pending contract can lock Career actions. If a contract is waiting for your signature, Dispatch and flight duty can be blocked until you sign or decline the required document. This is intentional. FlyHub needs the employment state to be clear before it allows new assignments. What to review before signing
Review every contract for:- Airline.
- Rank or role.
- Base.
- Aircraft family.
- Hourly pay.
- Weekly pay terms.
- Training pay multiplier.
- Required training flights.
- Minimum training average.
- Type-rating cost and pilot share.
- Housing or rent support.
- Performance expectations.
- Termination or resignation penalties.
Training contracts
Training contracts define what you must complete before becoming fully active. A training contract can include:- Aircraft family.
- Number of training flights.
- Minimum average score.
- Reduced training pay.
- Type-rating cost.
- Pilot cost share.
- Housing or rent terms.
| Difficulty | Training flights | Minimum average |

| Hard | 15 | 9.0/10 |
Employment contracts
Employment contracts activate normal line work. They usually define:- Airline.
- Rank.
- Base.
- Hourly pay.
- Eligible fleet.
- Company obligations.
- Performance requirements.
Promotion contracts
Promotions require a new contract. When you are promoted, FlyHub creates a promotion contract with the new rank and pay terms. The promotion becomes active after the contract is signed. For promotion requirements, see Career Ranks and Promotions.Transfer contracts
Transfer contracts are used when you move to another airline or sign a new employment package. Transfers can include:- New base selection.
- Relocation costs.
- Medical or psychological examination costs.
- Training cost share.
- New pay terms.
- New seniority position.
Signing a contract
- Open the pending contract from the Career page that shows it.
- Read the terms.
- Enter your signed name.
- Add the required signature.
- Submit the signed contract.
- Wait for FlyHub to update your Career state.
Common mistakes
- Ignoring a pending contract and wondering why Dispatch is locked.
- Signing without checking base and aircraft family.
- Starting training without checking the required average.
- Accepting a type-rating offer without enough money for the pilot share.
- Assuming promotion pay starts before the promotion contract is signed.
