Career Dispatch

Career Dispatch is where Career assignments begin. Use it to generate or accept work for your current airline.

Before Dispatch unlocks

Dispatch usually requires an active carrier contract. Dispatch can be locked if:
  • You have no active employer.
  • You are still in training.
  • You have a pending contract to sign.
  • You are grounded by medical or compliance issues.
  • You have pending flights that must be handled first.
If Dispatch is locked, read the message shown in the app. It usually tells you what to fix.

Dispatch modes

Career Dispatch can include:
  • Itinerary generation.
  • Bid Board.
  • Reserve.

Itinerary generation

Itinerary generation builds Career assignments from your employer’s route network. FlyHub considers:
  • Your current airline.
  • Your current location.
  • Your employer fleet.
  • Your type ratings.
  • Your active training path.
  • Dispatch filters.
After generation, review the itinerary before accepting it.

Accept and file

Generated Career legs do not go straight to My Flights. They are filed to Calendar first. The normal flow is:
  1. Open Dispatch.
  2. Generate an itinerary.
  3. Review routes, aircraft, and warnings.
  4. Select aircraft if required.
  5. Click Accept and File.
  6. Open Calendar.
  7. Schedule the accepted assignments.
  8. Lock the roster.
  9. Open My Flights to start the dispatches.

Bid Board

Bid Board is a monthly route-ranking workflow. Use it when you want to submit preferred route lines. You select route lines and submit ranked choices. The app can require at least 20 selections and allow up to 30. Bid Board work is not the same as immediately booking a flight. It is a preference submission for later award processing.

Reserve

Reserve lets you go on reserve duty. Reserve duty places you on standby for 72 hours. While you are on reserve, Operations can call you for a random assignment. Calls are not guaranteed. When a call appears, you have 3 hours to accept it. Accepted reserve assignments pay 2.0x hourly pay. Reserve calls can be single-leg or multi-leg assignments. After you accept, the assignment is sent to Calendar so you can schedule and lock it like normal Career work. If relocation is required, FlyHub may direct you to Jumpseat first. Some reserve relocation can be covered by the airline. See Career Jumpseat for the full repositioning guide. You cannot go on reserve if Career rules already block it. For example, reserve can be unavailable during training or when pending flights must be cleared first.

Fatigue warning

Career Mode can apply a fatigue scoring penalty when you fly too aggressively. If you complete more than 20 Career flights inside a 48-hour window, additional flights can receive a 3-point score penalty. The warning exists so you can decide whether to slow down before damaging your own performance record.

Common mistakes

  • Expecting filed Dispatch legs to appear directly in My Flights.
  • Forgetting to schedule and lock assignments in Calendar.
  • Trying to use Bid Board while still in training.
  • Going on reserve without being ready to accept a call.
  • Staying on reserve without checking whether you can respond within the 3-hour call window.
  • Selecting aircraft you are not rated or eligible to fly.
  • Ignoring warnings on generated routes.
