Career Duty Lines
A Duty Line is an optional set of 2–4 flights in Career Dispatch. Choose a route you like, book all its flights together, and fly them in order. Each finished flight earns normal pay. Complete the full line to earn one extra cash bonus. Short lines can be flown in one sitting. Longer lines show where to take a rest and when to return. You can always see the next step in My Flights.Pick a line
- Open Career → Dispatch and switch on Duty Line.
- Choose 2, 3, or 4 flights and Continuous or Return to base.
- Pick an aircraft you can fly for your airline. Add airport or route filters if you want.
- Choose Comfortable or Tight. You can set a 4-, 6-, or 8-hour maximum, or choose Any length for longer routes.
- Select Generate duty line. If you dislike the route, generate another. Nothing starts until you book.
The time limit is a maximum, not a target. If nothing fits, try fewer flights, another aircraft, wider filters, or Any length.
When the clock starts
T+0 means the instant you book. Generating and reviewing do not start the clock.- First departure: planned for T+25 minutes. Push back between T+10 and T+40 for its on-time credit. You can leave before the planned T+25 time.
- Start flight 1 by T+40: this is the first report deadline. Missing it ends the line and costs 0.20 reputation.
- Finish by: the on-time arrival deadline. On a line with rest stops, it first applies to Part 1. The next part gets its own clock when you return.
Between flights: turn or rest?
Flights in the same part need a ground turn, not an overnight rest. The timetable plans a full turnaround, with time to deboard, service, and board, including with ground-service add-ons such as GSX.
The turn runs from parked to the next pushback. The minimum is 20 minutes (35 for larger aircraft); never push back sooner. If you turn faster than planned, you may push back up to 15 minutes early and still be on time. The booking screen shows your line’s planned turn.
For example, a 777 line can show EDDP → EGNX → KCVG as Part 1. The short EDDP → EGNX flight does not force a 12-hour stop. After parking at EGNX, prepare the aircraft and continue to KCVG after the planned turn. Rest at KCVG appears only if the next flight belongs to a new part.
If adding another flight would make a flying part too long, the plan shows a marked Rest at stop. A short connecting flight can share a part with one long flight when the combined time is reasonable. The booking review shows every part and its estimated UTC day, so you can judge the commitment before accepting it.
Follow the line after booking
Open My Flights for the next route and the What now panel. It tells you:- When the ground turn ends and when the next on-time pushback window opens.
- Whether your last arrival gained or lost time, and whether a bonus is still possible.
- When this part must finish, or when you may return from a rest stop.
At a marked rest stop
Park and complete the last flight of the part. Your 48-hour return window starts from that recorded arrival. You do not have to come back the moment minimum rest ends. Normally, rest at least 12 real hours. You must also be Fit for Duty in Career. If you used faster sim speed, the minimum rest shown after landing may be shorter; the 48-hour return deadline and Fit for Duty check still apply. Follow the later of the rest-end time and Fit for Duty time shown in What now. Come back and start the next flight before Start next flight by. FlyHub then sets that part’s departure and finish times. If you miss the 48-hour window, the line ends, the unflown flights are removed, the bonus is lost, and reputation falls 0.20. Pay for flights already finished stays yours. Long-haul Duty Lines must be booked while you are Fit for Duty, because booking starts the first clock. If the booking screen asks you to rest first, check your Career condition and book a fresh offer when ready.Track each flight
You can use Online Tracking or Offline Debrief on console. For an offline Duty Line flight, record the actual UTC Pushback, Takeoff, Landing, and Parked check-ins. Pushback is your duty departure; Parked is your duty arrival and starts the next turn or rest. Enter the times when they really happened, then complete the debrief. With Online Tracking, your arrival is recorded when you park at the gate, not when you close the flight. You can finish deboarding before closing it without losing turn time. Fly the displayed route in order, keep the minimum ground time, and aim for a flight score of 7.5/10 or higher. The bonus is checked after all flights have been verified. For help with the shared flight workflow, see Online Tracking or Manual and Offline Mode.If you use faster sim speed
2×, 4×, and 8× can be used. If a flight finishes far ahead of schedule, FlyHub can move the next flight up so you are not left waiting for its old time. The normal ground turn remains. Console pilots should select the sim speed used in Offline Debrief. A faster flight can still contribute to the line bonus, but its bonus uses real time flown and its on-time share is smaller. The finish share can still be earned. An on-time finish using faster sim speed does not award the usual reputation gain. At a rest stop, check the updated minimum rest and Fit for Duty time in My Flights. If you land at an alternate
If SKBO → SKRG lands at SKAR, report SKAR as your actual arrival. FlyHub adds a SKAR → SKRG recovery flight before your next booked flight and adjusts the deadline for the extra flying and turns. If you divert again, another recovery flight can be added. Complete the recovery route and the original line to keep the bonus in reach. A legitimate diversion alone does not erase the bonus, but recovery flights do not increase its maximum. The Duty Line panel shows the new route and deadline.Pay, bonus, and results
Normal pay: each completed flight is paid on your usual Career payday. Extra cash: one Duty Line bonus is paid after the whole line is checked. It is not a separate payment per flight. The maximum is up to 25% on Comfortable or 30% on Tight of eligible flight pay. For example, $1,000 of eligible pay could earn up to $250 or $300 extra. The rate shown when you book stays with that line.
For a line flown in one part, 40% of the bonus rewards flights close to their planned times and 60% rewards the final arrival. The finish share fades to zero 30 minutes after the deadline. For a line with rest stops, the split is 70% for flight timing and 30% for the final part; that finish share fades over 60 minutes late. Longer flights get a wider arrival allowance. Resting within the allowed window does not reduce the bonus.
Every flight needs valid tracking or offline check-ins, the required turn, the planned route or its recovery, and a score of at least 7.5/10. A Duty Line bonus replaces the usual Calendar-date bonus for these flights.
After verification, My Flights shows the result, recorded UTC times, bonus, and reputation change. Results may include Clean Line, Comeback, or Diversion recovered.
If you cannot continue
Use End duty early in the Duty Line panel before missing a start window. It releases the unflown flights. You keep pay for completed flights, with no Duty Line bonus and no reputation loss. Finish or reset any flight already active before ending the line.Related guides
