Manage Airline: Identity and Profile

Use Identity and Profile to maintain the airline’s public identity, branding, welcome content, pilot requirements, and operating policies.

Identity fields

You can configure:
  • airline name: 3–120 characters;
  • short name: 2–32 characters;
  • ICAO code: three letters or numbers, displayed in uppercase;
  • callsign: 2–32 letters, numbers, or spaces;
  • home airport: a valid four-letter airport code in the shared network;
  • public summary: up to 2,000 characters;
  • round logo and wide logo.
The country shown on the public profile is derived from the selected home airport. It is not a separate editable field.

Branding and public content

The profile can include a banner, round logo, wide logo, published home page, pilot requirements, and welcome message. Use the Basic Editor for supported formatting and media. The HTML & CSS editor is available for the home page and requirements when you need more control. Before publishing, FlyHub sanitizes content and removes unsafe scripts, forms, handlers, and links. Valid links must use HTTPS or mailto, and images must use approved sources.

Save and publish

  • Use Save identity to save the identity fields.
  • Upload a logo or wide logo to replace its current preview.
  • Change Home base through the confirmation step. Changing it costs FH$1,000,000 and the airport must be in the shared network.
  • Use Publish to make a new content revision visible to pilots.
  • Use Publish policy to publish the flight, admission, and moderation policy together.
  • Switching from HTML & CSS to the Basic Editor removes advanced structure and styling after confirmation.
The banner position can be adjusted from the public profile with the position controls. The page does not provide a visible delete action for branding assets or a full draft/rollback history.

Permissions and groups

Viewing the section requires profile-view access. Editing identity, branding, and content requires profile-management access; policy editing also requires policy-management access. Owners and Managers receive profile access by default, while specialized roles do not automatically receive it. In a group, an operating airline keeps its own identity, ICAO, callsign, logo, fleet, routes, and schedules. The flagship shares the employer profile, policies, requirements, welcome message, and public home page with the group.

Limits

  • PNG, JPEG, and WebP images up to 5 MiB.
  • Alt text is required and is 1–300 characters.
  • Input images may contain up to 40 million pixels.
  • Wide logos should be at least 600×200 pixels with a 1.5:1–5:1 ratio.
  • Source content and HTML are limited to 512 KiB; CSS is limited to 128 KiB.
  • Welcome messages are limited to 16,000 characters and use the Basic Editor.

If saving or loading fails

Check the field format, ICAO availability, home-base eligibility, balance, content limits, and moderation requirements. Reload the section if it remains in a loading state, then follow the action shown by the page.
