Career Historical Operations
Career Historical Operations is a Captain-level reward that lets you fly routes your current airline operated in the past. It uses the same historical route archive as Historical Routes, but keeps the experience inside Career Mode. Historical Operations is available to Captains and Senior Captains when the current employer has historical flights.Who can use it
You need:- Captain or Senior Captain rank.
- An active employer in Career Mode.
- Historical routes for that employer.
Employer versions stay separate
Career Historical Operations uses the employer’s exact ICAO identity. Historical versions are included only when the archive associates them with that employer. For example, an employer usingARE can include its Aires Colombia, LAN Colombia, and LATAM Colombia eras when those records are stored under ARE. That does not automatically include routes stored under a different employer ICAO. Continental (COA) and United (UAL) remain separate employers even when their histories are related.
This keeps each airline’s Career archive consistent across job changes and historical eras.
Manual Bid
Use Manual Bid when you want to choose individual historical flights.- Open Career > Historical Operations.
- Choose Manual Bid.
- Filter by year, route, airline version, aircraft, distance, or flight time.
- Review the historical route and its listed aircraft.
- Select the aircraft you will fly. If a route has more than one option, choose one of those options.
- Dispatch the flight.
Scheduler
Use Scheduler when you want FlyHub to generate a multi-leg historical itinerary. You can choose the year range, number of legs, routing style, airports, airline versions, aircraft filters, distance, flight time, airport rules, and scenery preferences. Review each generated leg and select a listed aircraft wherever the itinerary asks for one, then dispatch the itinerary. Scheduler follows the same controls as the Historical Routes Scheduler, while limiting the archive to your current employer.Historical flights are omnipresent
Historical Operations does not require a jumpseat or a current-aircraft reposition. You can start from any airport and fly the selected flights in the order that works for you. Historical flying does not move your normal Career position or create positioning flights. Historical flights are independent of your normal Career roster. After dispatch, they appear in Career My Flights without occupying the regular Calendar queue, so they do not block normal assignments or reserve work. Use Career My Flights and Active Flight to start and complete them.Pay and progression
Historical Operations is a reduced-pay Career activity:- Pay is 50% of your employer’s base hourly rate for the logged flight hours.
- Historical pay does not receive normal bid-board or other hourly bonuses.
- XP remains at 100% of the normal Career result.
- Historical flights count toward reputation, employer hours, promotions, achievements, fatigue, flight totals, and normal performance consequences.
- Historical flights do not award or advance type ratings, training totals, aircraft recency, or the employer-hour milestone used to request another type rating.
